A medium handmade stoneware mug glazed in Crimson Mesa — a deep plum rim melting into cobalt and teal, then dripping in soft peaks over a carved band of bare red clay that reads like a ridgeline at sunset. The foot is left in olive-toned raw stoneware. Wheel thrown one at a time, with the mountain line carved into the wet clay before the first firing.

How this mug was made

Thrown on the wheel from stoneware, ridgeline carved at leather hard, handle pulled and attached by hand, bisque fired, then glazed so the color breaks just above the exposed clay and fired.
